Schreib dazu an info@neulandwerkstatt.de.

Quiravel is an offline app. It does not collect, transmit or store personal data on the developer’s servers and uses no tracking, analytics, advertising or account. The app does not request the “Internet” permission and does not connect to any server itself.
As the developer I receive no data from the app, so I do not process personal data while you use it. The sections below explain what happens on your device and where third parties (Google, the target you share to) may be involved.
Everything you enter: templates, modules, trips and packing lists, destinations and travel dates, names of fellow travellers and pets, notes, weights and settings. This data is stored only on the device. Uninstalling the app or deleting its app data removes it.
Android’s automatic cloud backup is disabled for the app. Data leaves the device only through an action of yours (see the next section).
Please enter in names and notes only what you want to keep on your device. You can manage other people’s data (for example names of fellow travellers) freely on your device; ask them before you pass it on.
The following functions create a file or text that you can pass on to another app or person only when you explicitly ask for it:
From the share menu on, the target (for example a messenger, email or a cloud drive) decides how the data is processed; the privacy terms of that provider apply, and what happens to a file afterwards is up to you.
To import a template you can scan a QR code. The app uses Google’s code scanner (Google ML Kit through Google Play services). The app itself requests no camera permission for this and only receives the text of the QR code from the scanner. The app neither stores nor transmits camera images.
The scanner is provided by Google. Google Play services may download the scanner module when needed and may send technical data (for example about performance and stability) to Google. Google is responsible for this; Google’s privacy policy and the ML Kit notices apply. If the scanner is not available (for example without Google Play services), you can paste a code or import a file instead.
When the app asks you for a rating, it uses Google Play’s in-app review. Google decides whether the dialog appears and shows it itself. The app does not learn whether you rated or what you wrote. Google processes the data under Google’s privacy policy. Rating is voluntary.
The app contains typical climate values of large cities and countries as a built-in table. No location is requested and no internet connection is made. Sources: WMO World Weather Information Service (worldweather.wmo.int) and GeoNames (geonames.org, Creative Commons Attribution 4.0). You enter the destination yourself.
The app only accesses information on your device that is needed for the functions you use (section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).
The data stays on your device until you delete it in the app, delete the app data or uninstall the app. Backup files and shared files are where you saved or sent them, and only you can delete them.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not collect data from them.
This privacy page is hosted on GitHub Pages (GitHub Inc., a Microsoft subsidiary, USA). When you open it, GitHub processes technical data such as your IP address and the time of access in server logs in order to deliver and secure the page. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and stable delivery (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The transfer to the USA relies on the standard contractual clauses and GitHub’s participation in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; details are in GitHub’s privacy statement.
The page itself sets no cookies and loads no external scripts, fonts or trackers. The app does not fetch this page automatically.
Because I receive no personal data from the app, I cannot give you information about it or delete it; you have full control over all data in the app. Where I process data about you in connection with this website or a message to info@neulandwerkstatt.de, you have the rights of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21), and the right to withdraw any consent at any time. Write to info@neulandwerkstatt.de.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (www.ldi.nrw.de).
There is no automated decision-making, including profiling.
This statement is updated when the app gets new functions that process data. The date above shows the current version.
